Project Overview
A brief overview of the POP-ART system concept is given in the following:
The GPS pseudoranges computed at the user terminal level are sent to the
operations coordinator through VHF radio link or GPRS link. The positioning data are collected in a centralized database.
At the Operations Coordinator level, the EGNOS corrections are applied in order to improve the positioning performance. Waypoints for
guidance are then sent back to the people involved in the rescue operations.
